As an educator and one who frequently writes and administers examinations, I would like to see a set of directions / instructions for taking the examinations.

abbreviated example of instructions:
-For the following questions, choose the one best answer
If more than one answer could/should be chosen, it needs to say so. There are times when more than one answer has validity.

Thanks, CRg

Hi Marcy, CME is an acronym for Continuing Medical Education which is for physicians. ASCP uses the term CMLE for continuing medical laboratory education for laboratory professionals. CMLE is calculated on clock hours as are P.A.C.E. contact hours. CEU stands for Continuing Education Unit. One contact hours is earned for a program lasting at least 50 minutes. It takes 10 clock hours or 10 contact hours to equal 1 CEU. So a 1.0 contact hour Learning Scope exam is worth 0.1 CEU. You can contact ASCLS to learn more about your credits: 202-367-1174.
